Breast Cancer Prevention
There are a lot of small things you can do to prevent breast cancer that might add up to save you in the end.
- Do weekly or monthly self breast exams.
- Get yearly mammograms after the age of 40.
- Sleep in absolute darkness, when you do your body produces melatonin, which impedes the growth of cancer and boosts your immune system.
- Limit alcohol to one drink or less per day.
- Maintain a healthy weight, there is a link between estrogen production in the fatty tissue and breast cancer.
- Stay physically active, thats part of a healthy weight.
- Limit your fat intake.
- Avoid exposure to pesticides.
- Don't smoke.
