What's the first thing that comes to mind? Dental floss? Thongs have become popular. But some people just don't know why or understand how they are popular. The key to the thong is buying the right size, this is more critical then you think. The back of the thong is not supposed to be wedged between your butt cheeks. It should nicely sit over the bum...it is not supposed to act like a wedgie! The best method for getting your size is to buy a size that is one larger then your pant size. It will give you enough hip room and in the front and back. If it creates indents in your hips or is uncomfortable, it is the wrong size. Thongs come in all sorts of colors, patterns and styles. It's really up to your personal preference. If you have the right size you won't have to worry about looking bad. Some thongs have lace, tie up backs, little decorative pieces in the front or back, etc. There are so many options. Give them a try, you never know you may really like them. One added bonus is it won't leave pantie lines when your wearing certain clothes, and therefore won't attract attention in the wrong way.
Types of ThongsThongs come in many styles, here's some of the basics.Traditional Thong The traditional thong is the most popular. The strip at the back can be varying widths. Choice is just personal preference. G-String Thong G-String thong seriously is a string in the back, a very thin piece of fabric. V-String Thong The V-String is similar to the G-String, however it branches off at the top to form a V shape. Sometimes a triangle piece of fabric will be added. T-Back Thong The back of the T-Back forms the shape of a capital T. These are often lace-up thongs, with ties on the sides. C-String Thong The C-String is narrow like the G-String, however it doesn't have the sides to it, or the band around the waist. The thong has a flexible internal frame which is what keeps in in place. As there is little fabric used it completely eliminates panty lines. These are usually used as beach wear to avoid tan lines.
