Why does my vagina make fart noises?

Sometimes when I have sex my vagina makes a fart noise, it's really embarrassing, what can I do about it?

Answer

That fart noise is actually really common, it's usually referred to as a queef. When you're having sex air can get pushed into the vagina from the thrusting of the man's penis. Eventually this air needs to escape and it makes a sound you might be embarrassed by. There isn't a whole lot you can do. You can try different positions, missionary position will cut down on this. Try angling your pelvis differently during sex, it can help as the penis won't be able to push as much air in. But really you shouldn't be embarrassed about it, laugh it off and don't let it kill the mood.
